Welcome to the world's newest blog about travelling to the US of A for the first time as the Toro student Greenkeeper of the Year. It's going to be 8 weeks of enlightenment and discovery a I undertake The Winter Turf School at Umass Amherst before embarking on a whirlwind tour of the mid-west and Texas. More to come which I will try to record the next 8 weeks.
And yes I am wearing my snow boots in the house with the heating turned down (I'm not mad..!!) as I undertake some cold weather preparation training.
